Light with a sense of place
SolarSync decides where the sun belongs before the image is rendered, so every twilight has a believable relationship to the house it is on — and when it cannot decide, it says so instead of guessing.
Property and date
The address gives the latitude and longitude; the shoot date gives the sun's path. Together they say where sunset was, to the degree and the minute.
Camera direction
A drone wrote its heading into the file, and Lumavo kept it. A ground camera did not — so you answer one question, once: the sun set to my left, ahead, right, or behind me.
Only what is known
With a matched heading, the render is told which side the sun set on. Without one, it is told nothing about direction — SolarSync never invents a sunset to make a picture prettier.
From capture to evening
Architecture, roofline, windows, driveway, landscaping, water and the camera position are kept as photographed. The sky and the light are what change.
The difference is not a prettier sky. It is a believable one.

SolarSync TwilightOriginalSolarSync is the part of Lumavo's twilight conversion that knows where the sun actually was. The property address says where the house is; the shoot date says where the sun is; the camera heading says which way the photograph looks. From those three it works out which side of the frame the sun set on, and the render puts the evening glow there. If the heading is not known it says so and adds no direction, rather than inventing one.
A drone records its heading in the file, and Lumavo keeps that at upload — so a drone exterior is matched with no input at all. A ground camera usually records no heading, so the photographer answers one question, standing where the photo was taken: the sun sets to my left, ahead, to my right, or behind me. That one tap is stored with the photo.
They are three moments of one evening rather than three styles: Sunset with the sun on the horizon, Twilight about 15–20 minutes after sunset, and Dusk about 35–40 minutes after. SolarSync calculates the real minutes for that property and date, so a Minnesota Twilight in June and a Florida Twilight in December are each rendered at the right moment. All three are made from the same original photograph.
No. Shoot the exterior in daylight as normal. The house, roof, windows, driveway, landscaping and camera position are kept exactly as photographed; only the sky and the light change. A drone frame or a ground photo both work.
